The Why?
To put it in a few words: Weddings. People. Hospitality. Celebration. Joy.
This is what I’m about and why SEW Co. came to be! I’ve fallen into the category of “any reason to host a party or share a meal” kind of person, and weddings have made my heart burst over how they bring people together. They are unlike any other celebration and truly deserve your time, attention, intentionality, and yes, even your *money*.
Have you ever thought about how interruptive weddings are? You bring together multiple groups of people from all different walks of life (family, childhood friends, high school friends, college friends, co-workers, teammates, new friends, etc. etc…) and they ALL have their own lives and personal intricacies going on, and yet… they allow life to pause for a moment, just a little while, to join you in a gathering of your life-long commitment and celebrate your union as husband and wife.
Sounds like a pretty important day to not skimp out on the details. But you shouldn’t have to stress months over it. *Cue Friends theme song*
Hiring a planner might be a requirement put in place by your venue (rightfully so), but it is also an investment in your day of celebration that allows you to have the peace of mind and freedom to be excited for a day that you SHOULD be excited for!
